Who's birthday is it?

Perusing the local paper's "Sheriff's Report" is always an entertaining event.

From the 4th of August came the story of a concerned citizen that called the Sheriff to report a suspicious person walking down the street,  carrying what looked like a gun.

It turned out to be unfounded,  it was young blong girl,  dressed in jeans and tee-shirt,  carrying a birthday cake.....

Ya that's the kind of stories we get up here.  

Sadly there's always the "bad news" reports too.....

It just kinda takes the sting out of the serious stuff when one reads of young girls carrying birthday cakes.. :)

Police report: 2:40 A.M. man reported loud noise coming from garage, turned out to be his son who accidently locked himself inside while drunk.

!  sounds like something I used to do "back in the day"  when I used to drink!  circa 1967-69

where you been? otr have I just missed your articles recently?

I haven't been writing as many,  have been working around my apt,  fixing it up   also am enjoying the new digital camera I just got.

Ain't they swell?!  A sense of peace and safety for the most part,  unlike cities like the Twin Cities..

I know JUST how she must have felt that day too...something similar happened to me once....

The "birthday bandit"     now that's funny!
