Now that people are starting to use RightClick on Vista, Snidely asked the question of how you place an entry in RightClick to directly access items like "Personalize" in Windows Vista. I gave the solution on IRC last night, but I wanted to share it with the rest of your here.

In the RightClick configuration window create a new shortcut. In the "target" box, enter the following:

control.exe /name Microsoft.Personalization

That should allow you to open "Personalize" directly. Some of the more "common" entries are:

Microsoft.Bluetooth
Microsoft.Fonts
Microsoft.Keyboard
Microsoft.Mouse
Microsoft.WindowsUpdate
Microsoft.WindowsDefender
Microsoft.SyncCenter

Great tip ID. I was looking for .cpl items instead. Needless to say, that venture was not a success..

I couldn't get Windows Update to work, but this does:

%SystemRoot%\system32\wuapp.exe
