The Adorable Little Redhead

My truck is still in the shop for yet another day. It should be ready to roll around noon tomorrow. I'm back in the hotel where I have spent all of this week. Not making a fracking dime.
I went over to Applebee's around 4:00 this afternoon and had a few brews. I was there when they had the shift change from afternoon to evening, and one of the newer bartenders came on duty as well as the adorable little redheaded server. I was once again struck by how tiny she is as well as how damn cute she is. Never mind the how young part.
I had a pretty good time and even got to talk with aforementioned adorable little readhead for a bit. I shot the shiite with the bartender for a good while as well as having a few conversations with a few different fellow patrons and eventually departed with some take out chow and retreated back to my hotel room for the night.
The adorable little readhead is quite bright and a bit brassy but I wouldn't expect less from a true redhead. Naturally she hasn't the slightest bit of interest in a middle aged fart like me, but she was enjoyable to chat with for a bit and was kind enough to indulge this old trucker. She's just so damn cute it's painful. Makes me wish I was 20 years younger.
Ah well, the musings of a middle aged fart I suppose. Such is the nature of life. Good thing I am happy with my own company because ultimately that's what I am left with. No complaint.
I hope like hell my truck is ready to roll tomorrow. I am bored with sitting around here and need to get down the road and make some cash. Bills to pay and all that. I've spent all week sitting here so now I really can't afford to go home as planned. I need to keep running now to make enough to pay my bills. Damn trucks.
