So Much Christmas, so little time.

So Much Christmas, so little time.

Skinning Chritmas, Day 4, Part 1, and Day 6 Part 1

OK, so I eded up finishing the Windowblinds skin on the plain to California. Bringing us to a total of 34 hours on the Windowblinds skin. More then I wanted but not to bad over all. But now from the Starbucks in San Bernardino California. I have the chance to update the blog, and explain why I have been MIA for the last 2 days.

I spent yesterday doing the Icons and the wall, though I want to tweak the wall a bit more so Im not showing it here. Icons ended up takeing about 5 1/2 hours, and I only did the "Core 24" as I call them. they are the Icons you see in the XP start panel, as well as the folders. Anyway. I chose to do these sice this skin, and the Icons, are going to be packaged up in a Theme Manager, and I wanted to keep the file size relatively small. I plan on finishing up the rest of the Iconpack on my own time, and will try and get it up on wincutomize.com sometime in the first week of December.

I ran into a few glitches, which is why the skin took longer then I thought. I got it into my head to animate the XPStartpanel User pane. And ran into a problem with the size. But With help form Adam and Neil we got it working. Also. I decided that I did not like my original Tiltlebars. And had to redo them. And I also redid all the Menus, tab pages, and toolbar backgrounds, to get a good Tiling Pattern for the Snowflakes.

Soon as I am done with the suite, 100% I will post some of the Source file for people to play with.

Here is a Gif of what the animated User Pane looks like.

:D Totallly awesome!

Is there anyone who knows how to skin for Trillian that can port this to that program?

That's the only program on my computer that hasn't had this theme applied.
