some newbie questions about preorder / beta

Lets see. In order to download SINS you need Stardock Central. By just preordering, you can't get access to beta 1, but you'll get access to beta 2 and beyond. You could get into beta 1 now, but you'd need to buy game tokens, which costs more. Beta 2 comes out on the 21st, which is the earliest you could get the beta if you preoder.

I also got the Download+ CD, but I don't know exactally what that means (could mean you could do either, or the CD is part of it and the download is the other part).



Ref #? After you get the beta key, get Stardock Central, go to the games list, find the SINS beta, right click and then register products (If I remember correctly).

Don't worry, Multi or some one will tell you the absolutly right way to do it, eventually...

You get access to Beta2 (June 21st) ,Beta3 (end of Summer) , Beta4 (when they feel like it).

You get to download the FULL game when it is out in February 2008.

AND they send you a Retail Copy of the Game in February. (Boxed Copy , like you normally get in the Store.

yay, i thought a magic wand was going to come to my rescue, w00t!

i would've never guest what to do next, i made account on stardock central and i got the ordered key. so now i have to wait till the 21st, better than waiting for it next year wich is another torture for me btw .

one other thing i wanted to know. once you have the game installed by pre ordered digital download, can you always play it even when the beta trials is over?

i wanted to know if i have access to this game whenever i want to play it and maybe practice the control configurations for the game after the beta test is done with.

My general feeling is we will be able to play the beta at least until the full release of the game.

When I Beta Tested COH , their Beta actually lasted 2 weeks past the release date of the game, so people were actually still playing the beta 2 weeks after the game was on store shelves.

As it stands now , once you have the game installed you can play it all you want. You only need to update via stardock, as there is no in game update method.

No need to make another account--your forum account is your SDC account, FYI.



There's no expiration on the beta that I'm aware of, but then unlike other games you'll be getting the full game as soon as its out anyway, so that's not such a big deal

You sure do, but only after I download it first...

They allowed people a week to get into the first beta, so it will probably be the same for beta2.

i am sorry but i pre ordered all beta 2 downloads six months ago you'll have to wait for beta 3
