Time enhancement

Hi,

just started to watch Multianna's videos, and I have a question. Will it be possible to enhance the delays in the game? What I mean by delay is:
- Time to complete researches;
- Time to build ships/upgrades/installations (whatever);

So basically, you could slow down the technology advancement (and ships construction), which would enhance the time a game takes to complete, making it maybe a little more strategical.

Just a thought.

Modding Sins seems super easy, I mean even Multianna can do it!

haha no..... we have started to to battle nightly on the MSN games site, I kick his arse in rock paper scissors, and I sometimes let him win in Checkers and Reversi... Since we can't play sins online we feel the need to at least play some games against each other....

well, good then. I was just wondering if it was possible. I bought (some time ago) SW Empire at War and was pretty disappointed with the game speed (unit building, research, movement between planets, etc...) It is just too arcade for me and I didn't found an easy way to slow things down.

SW Empire at War was a disapointment in almost every way, sad to say

Ground battles were horrible... Space battles did look pretty, but were lacking that feeling of being connected to your units...

this game is already too slow, trust me. I find myself socializing (GASP!) between big inter-galactic affecting decisions.

Yep I could not agree more. I even tried to mod it to add some zing to it but in the end lost all interest in it. Sadly it had so much potential...

In between my Sins fixes I have been playing Sword of the Stars (SoTS) and Star Wolves 2 (SW2) and I must say SoTS is really fun so far and SW2 has its moments but is lacking in several areas. I think SW2 was made for 10 to 15 year olds. I do like the the Hero development aspect. I sure hope we get something like a cross of the two games mixed into Sins when all is said and done.

You speak truth ! I thought that this game was Rebellion 2... (I'm still a huge fan of SW Rebellion) Well, I was wrong! I'm still dreaming of a Rebellion 2...
