Demo available (playable or gameplay movie)?

Hi,

I know that the game is still in early stages, but I was wondering if it was possible to try it on a demo. The thing is I would really like to be a beta tester, but before buying a game at 45$, I would like to know if I like it!

Probably not available, but I decided to give it a try! And a demo would not be necessary a playable demo, maybe just a movie of gameplay example could convince me. I would like to give the devs my inputs.. I'm a computer engineer, so I know the drill.

Regards

i made some gameplay videos as soon, as the beta1 was released.
But take in mind this was the very first beta that was released, and i believe that we are gonna see alot of change in the next beta (2).

The sound is low since i made an error, so just turn up the volume

Cheers

Any chance you'll re-upload the wmv files? Found the embedded clips great but would love to have them in better resolutions and currently they are not accessible.

Multi, you should make more videos for beta 2. Beta 1 is much different now than when it came out.

Do you use FRAPS?

I will for sure make for beta 2 also

I used fraps for the last gameplay video, with a bunce of other programs, to convert and collect them into 100mb files

Are there any free ones that let you record as long as you like? I don't really wanna pay $37 for the full version of fraps, but if I do I'll get it later this year (if I get a new computer).

dunno, always used fraps. But the other programs i talk about, in my post, is all free, except fraps.

edit:
and i always make my videos in wmv, as i dont like other video formats.
mov - you gotta use quicktime, but you cant get fullscreen unless you pay for it
avi - well i thought about that, but then the users needs to install some codecs.
wmv - is what makes it easy for the viewers too, just download click and watch. And it also keeps alot of the good quality too

to make life easier you can use VLC to watch the file, it plays just about any format out there without the need of addition codec.

Oh, and it's free.

No, I mean to record games into a movie, not watch vids. I currently use fraps, but 30 secs at a time is...dull.

Hmm...maybe next time I wanna make a video (don't wanna waste the 1 trail). Thanks anyway!
