Yesterday we spent most of the day at the Space Center in Houston. They had the usual space exhibits but they also had the animal version of Grossology, and the boys LOVE that. Really fun. Of course it was sad that daddy wasn't there with us, but maybe when he comes home we can make another trip back. I know he would have loved playing with the boys at the Space Center.

Shovel: Heh, I understand that. I *hate* Houston.

The Space Center is technically in Clear Lake, which is Houston, but not Houston-Houston.

We did have a great time. I don't have all the pics because some are on my SIL's camera, but there was a lot to do, but not TOO much. It was just right.

How fun. My in-laws live in Houston and we still haven't been to the space center. We did go to the Kennedy Space Center when we lived in Florida but just looked at the freebie stuff because we were broke.

This looks a lot like COSI, a community science center in Columbus, which was amazing fun as a kid. I bet you guys had a blast.

Locamama: The space center here is pretty neat. Admission is not too high and you can get a coupon for a couple dollars off online, but some things are extra. Expect to spend at least a hundred dollars or so if you don't buy anything in the gift shop.

I am flying up to the panhandle (driving would be too hard on the baby), but I'm going to be in Texas the entire summer. I'll shoot you an email and we can see if there is a way for us to get together. I would love that.

Amanda: We love science museums. I think there is a human body museum here as well so I hope we get a chance to check that out.
