Do you mean the quality or the style? Its based on the cartoon version of clone wars that was on cartoon network for a little while. Personally, I don't like the style OR the time period its set in. Hopefully the live action series will be better.

I can understand why they would use that time period. It is still 'open' for events unlike the official heavily timelined A New Hope - Return of the Jedi period.

Hehe, I like that the Clone Troopers have a bit more personality in the trailer. Plus, since the graphics will be inexpensive to do, there will likely be many massive fleet engagements = cool.

The more I think of it, the cooler it seems like it will be.

Quality, the style is ok, the textures could be more cartoony, currently they look very boxy and to be frank rather low res, I could do better in an afternoon (chest swells with pride).

With what software? I just started using Gmax about thirty seconds ago to make stuff for Garry's MOD, and I'm really confused.

Nevermind. Your talking about videos and stuff and I'm talking about video games. Two different things I suppose. Besides, I gave up on Gmax (I'm never going to be good at modeling...its too complicated. I'll stick to making maps for the game in "Hammer", although hammer has been having issues lately.).

I thought the graphics looked like they came from a PC game engine from a couple years ago honestly.

Modelling isn't everything, I specialise in animation/lighting, any models I make myself are very simple and crude.

With what software?

I use mostly Maya, Lightwave 3D and Adobe After Effects (the latter two at school, the first at school and home). I prefer Maya because its the only software I have found so far that renders motion blur (objects travelling at certain speeds will be distorted and blurred at the edge of the frame).

Thats exactly what I mean. For the worlds leading VFX company the graphics don't half look amateurish.

EDIT: Looking at it again doesn't it remind anyone of the cutscenes in Escape From Monkey Island?

P.S. I was excaggerating when I said I could do better in an afternoon, I tried and it didn't amount to much...

Why won't he learn, STOP BEATING A DEAD HORSE!

the graphics may look 2 to 3yrs old but i'd rather fly one of those baby's than sit on a merchant ship that looks nothing like a ship but a lot more like a cardboard box.

anyways too bad they didn't follow up on those types of graphics and make it more better.

2 more movies? what? I doubt they will pick up on Luke's life say 30 years after Episode 6... But I wish they did...

Oh man they are gonna suck, and yet I will see them on the first day they are out....

Link, link? Is one Indiana Jones 4 (you never said Star Wars )? If so, whats the other one.

OOOO, PLEASE BE YUUZHAN VONG, PLEASE O PLEASE BE!!! (although I don't get how he could squeeze a twenty some-odd book series into two movies).

well, thematically, I would prefer Thrawn related materiel (no, that does not mean I want to see your home videos in cinema), but they probably don't translate very well to the movie format, because you hardly can bring all the thoughts and explanations of the book inside. so ... the vong period would likely be interesting and feasible yet the sheer amount would make it somewhat challenging.

but then ... didn't lucas state so often that he would not make any further starwars movies?
