How Do You Take This?

I found this picture out on the net when searching for pictures and cartoons about arguments on the internet. I have had it on my pc for over a month now and I still do not know how to take this picture and its message.

It abhorrent in its flippant use of a "retarded" boy and at the same time it is humorous funny. It turns my stomach with its nastiness yet makes me laugh with its humor. I do not know whether to laugh, cry or get mad with this photo and its message. It is politically incorrect, I know that much. But then I no longer bother with PC'ness because it has been abused by all and sundry for silly reasons.

How do you take this picture? Do you find it amusing, insulting, hurtful?

It offended me that he used this picture. I know people use "retarded" as a term for saying stupid or dumb...but here, I think he is using the word in a way that is offensive.

I do understand the message he is trying to get across that internet arguing is silly...I just don't like how he delivered it.
