Big Girl Drinks Juice

Izzy had her first experience with a cup and with something besides breastmilk.

She had 2 oz of unsweetened pear juice diluted with 2 oz of water. Next time I think I will dilute it a bit more. She seemed to find the aftertaste a bit tart, LOL. She managed to take in about 1/2 an ounce.

It is big, huh?

It's a transitional cup with a rubber spout, but I think a cheap plastic cup with the sippy lid would actually be better.

Thanks! She is a real cutie. I will have to make a video of her doing her kitty cat sounds. She does lots of funny stuff.

LW: Hahahahahahaha. It was a pencil and shortly after that clip ended it was removed from his hand LOL. I was worried he was going to stab her too (not on purpose!).

Orian is definitely one who likes attention (he was the baby for 6 years, after all). I much prefer the "helper" attention ploy to the "draw a picture of myself and my brother and write our names in my handwriting on the wall and then pretend like I have no idea who did it" attention ploy. Haha.

Actually both of the boys are good and nurturing with Izzy. Orian was less so at first but now that she is more interactive he really enjoys playing with her.

The funniest reaction my son has had to food was to lemons. He makes a face and shakes his head, and then asks for more... I wish I had a video of it, but I don't have a video camera...
