Pics Of A Gift From A Nice Lady

I went over to Mom's before lunch and picked up the small package sent to me from a nice lady on a knitting forum. As I had guessed, it contained hand-made stitch markers for knitting. I had complained on the knitting forum that stitch markers tend to be "girlie" and that I hadn't seen any that appeal to a guy. She was kind enough to make some for me and surprise me with them.

I really like them and they'll come in handy on complicated projects requiring stitch markers.

The charm on the one is a tool box with tools. A nice "guy" charm.

it is to hold the end of the knitting until you can finish it.

I think

Stitch markers are slipped onto the knitting needles at points one needs to keep track of, usually having to do with a stitch pattern change, or color change, so that one doesn't have to count every stitch.

Thanks for the lesson.

I love them.. The making of stitch markers are almost as addictive as knitting is. They can be as simple as a loop of different color yarn.. to allkinds of beads & charms. These look awesome Mason....

Yeah it was, and totally out of the blue. She said it took her a lot of looking around to find a "manly" charm.
