Looking Forward To A Surprise

A few days ago one of the ladies on a knitting forum sent me a PM saying that she had sent me something. She wouldn't say what it was, only that it was something I had written about wanting some time back. The only thing I can think it could be is some hand made stitch markers, but she refused to confirm or deny that, saying it was a surprise. I have to admit that my curiosity has been piqued a bit.

Late this afternoon Mom called me to say that some sort of small package had arrived for me in today's mail. As I was in the middle of cooking dinner I wasn't able to go get it at the time, and got lazy after dinner. I'll be going over there tomorrow to see what she sent.

I have to admit I'm looking forward to the surprise from someone I don't actually know but who seems to be a nice lady.

I know of few women who could put off getting a package till the next day. Most that I know would have stopped dinner & gone over to get the package.

But then again.. as a general rule I do suppose women are more curious.

If nothing else I am patient despite my occasional claims to the contrary.
