*Pancetta is a sort of bacon

For the life of me couldn't remember any of the cheeses! And didn't remember about the vanilla being from a bean!! As for the Bloody Mary...that I've never had...not my type of drink! Oh yeah, Squid, not snail! Duhhh!!

I have to comment after reading so many answers that say vanilla comes from a bean. If by bean, you mean pod, well technically, you're correct. But how many of you knew the plant is actually a variety of orchid and each flowering plant only grows one pod, which are then harvested.

2. What are "petit pois?" - Tiny peas
3. What ingredients would you use to make a Bechamel sauce?- Roux (flour and fat), cream, stock and sometimes seasonings like basil, garlic or onion
4. Venison is meat from a ____? - Deer...ick
5. Sherry is traditionally made in which country? - I'm pretty sure it's from Spain
6. What is a "Mirapois" of vegetables?- Is that supposed to be Mirepoix?  It's Onion, carrots and celery- not to be confused with "the trinity" which is onion, green pepper and celery.
7. Sushi usually has an outer casing of _______?- Nori seaweed.  You can buy it in convenient little sheets to make your own rolls!
8. Parma ham comes from where?  -Parma.  Is that a trick question?  Parma is in Italy.
9. What is the world's biggest selling beer? - Not sure on that one....Guiness?
10. What is Pancetta? - Italian bacon (salt cured pork belly)
11. Where did the hamburger originate from? - Another one I'll have to guess: Russia (thinking of steak tartare here and the Mongols...)
