why is it that all the other races call white people racist when they disagree with a certain policy?

the African-Americans have Martin Luther King Jr. Day, The United Negro College Fund, the NAACP,Black Entertainment Television, Affirmative action, and Black History Month

the mexicans have Cesar Chavez day, and other holidays(sorry, don't know too much about the whole mexican thing), and Mexican Celebrities promote the sterotypes that you complain about.(George Lopez)

if there was a white holiday to celebrate a person, we'd be racists, if there was an orginazation for the advancement of White People, they'd be racists, if there was an all-white college fund, they'd be racists, if there wah White Entertainment Television, it'd be racist, and if there was a White History Month, it would be racist.

White People arent all bad, and they are just as proud of their heritage and color as anyone else. So why is it that when they stand up and be proud to be white, they're called racists? does that sound strange to anyone else?

as far as asians go, i don't feel one way or another. for you to come here and say that everyone hates asians is a generalization, and i resent that.

i am acully part white. BUT, i am also ASIAN. this is history. even though i am part white, my asian is more important to my family. we can never forget HISTORY. it is the most important thing in the world. and i am NOT a racist. i am part asian and part white and i have a lot of black friends.

Po, good points, but I wouldnt say that George Washington's birthday is a white only holiday. same with Lincoln. they are more for Americans than white people,in my opinion. Bad wording on my part i meant if we had a white-only day to celebrate a white person.
on TV, you hit the nail on the head. there arent many minorities on the main networks. with the KKK, Aryan Nation, and Nazi parties, many would call them racists. I apologize if i offended anyone, but it's just ridiculous when someone comes in, starts a post, and insults, then threatens users for no real reason.

no idea why color seems to be the method of choice for identifying racists. Today's society is so stereotypical, that it's easy to judge on appearance, it's sad but its true.
