My one sentence Updates...

I've been procrastinating on blog entries.

I'm too worn out right now to write a detailed one.

I chopped off my hair last week.

I donated it to Locks of love(about 7 inches of it).

It was getting to be too much hair to handle.

I'm not photogenic.

But hey, I'm not running for Ms. America, so I shouldn't worry, right?

I'll be a bit down in a few days.

Why?

Chris will be away on a family reunion trip, a trip I won't be able to make with him.

I eat too many sweets.

No wonder I can't lose weight.

Maybe I'll get up tomorrow to do some walking exercises.

I won't hold my breath.

It's Sunday night already.

Where did my weekend go??????????

Rose, I don't know if you intended to be funny, but something about this post tickled me.

I hope you don't get too down with Chris being away. Remember, he IS coming back to you.

It is so nice to put a face to you. Now all I would like is a photo of both you and Chris together. That would be cool.

You and Lifehappens should start a club.  She cut hers and donated it to Locks of Love (I think it was the same outfit) as well.

Wow, seven inches is a lot. You must have had really long hair. Were you sad to cut it? Isn't it weird washing it for the first time. You feel like there's nothing there.

I wish you lived closer. Then we could walk together. I am watching what I eat but I have slacked on exercise this past week. I did an Ab DVD and my stomache hurt for three days afterwards and I still don't have a six pack. what a rip off. lol.

To me this was a nice, artistic (I want to say poetic but is that the right word?) blog. Very good! And don't worry about your hair 'cause you look pretty with it short and you're very photogenic too! Heh, they say the camera adds ten pounds so whenever my picture's taken it looks like they sure used a lot of cameras!

I donated my hair to locks of love in 2001 yep they took it too. Colleen use to say I was much worse than any woman when it came to hair care,lol.

yep although my hair was 55 years old it was in terriffic condition, I received a nice little card thanking me for my donation, saying after some coloring the hair would make a couple fine hairpeices of kids with cancer.

 

btw my donation was a 17 inch ponytail. no this is not a contest.

I think it's great you donated your hair! I like it short too. You're still cute! Don't worry, you'll lose the extra weight when you're ready! I still don't see what weight you're talking about, you're still cute!lol!


Make sure Chris carry a photo of you and make sure he calls you every second! Nice to read you Rose!

I never have the patience to grow my hair long enough to donate. Only once was it long enough, but I couldn't just chop it off. I respect people who can do that.

Thanks, Tonya. This might not have been the best day to take a pic since it was so windy that day, and my hair was blowing all over the place when I was out!

That would be so nice if I could have you as a walking partner. I really feel that I'd do better with someone there to motivate me. Chris goes with me sometimes, and my sister does once in a while as well, but they only have so much time for it.

I am planning to get a treadmill sometime soon, so maybe that might be another motivation for me.

Oh, as for ab exercises, I've tried them from the exercise channel on cable...they hurt like hell. They should have "Abs for Chubby people." I'd probably excel at that one.
