I got sent this quiz by a friend.  It is not as easy as it sounds.  Test your skills and see if you are smart enough to graduate (grad-ye-ate as Jethro would say) the fifth grade.

For all you trivia players, here is a chance to get a 10!

Doc, I got 65% and I can see my US geography sucks. I hang my head. On the other hand I know my Africa!

three wrong sucks -- when do we get more Canadian geography? - yeah right, Lake Alberta

I got 80. I got all the US geography questions wrong and that stupid prime number one. It's not fair, asking maths questions.

yeah right, Lake Alberta

That is between Lake Michigan and Lake Ohio, right?

Not bad!  SO you are good on everything except math.  Cant expect you to know about 4 corners and such when you are studying Ayers rock.

I really am impressed with some of these non-American scores.  Considering this is an American 5th grade test.

Well I should have got the maths one right as well. It doesn't bode well if a grown adult can't ace a Year 5 test without studying.

In School, you probably told your teachers "I dont need any of this stuff when I grow up!". For the most part, most people do not. When was the last time you bought a six pack and they asked you for your "prime number"?

Score: 80% --

I got #s 16, 17, 12 and 5 wrong. For 5 I mistakenly wrote 4 yrs for US rep....I forgot that one and for the math question about yard...I mistakenly wrote 3feet instead of 7....I'm dyslectic sometimes!lol! As for the other two wrong ones....common error!

At least everyone here seems to be passing it!

I got 65% too but plead ignorance on all the American geography questions, with the exception of the Grand Canyon one. I remembered the answer from an episode of The Brady Bunch, for god's sake! Oh well, take it where I can get it, so long as its right.

American TV - teaching America to non-americans!

BTW:  In Germany it was called Drei Jungen und Drei Madchen.
