Sam Elliot returns to Appleby's

I went next door to Applyby's for dinner and a couple of cold ones. I sat and quietly enjoyed my dinner. Afterwards I was talking to the bartender when someone was suddenly hugging me, which needless to say was a bit of a surprise, and I heard "I thought that was you! I didn't recognize you without your beard but I couldn't miss that voice! You still sound exactly like Sam Elliot! I love your voice. I wondered if you'd stop back in."

Of course it was the same server who had told me a little while back that she thought I sounded like Sam. We chatted for a couple of minutes and then she went back to serving tables but not before she gave me a little peck on the cheek and I gave her a little pat on the fanny.

It's kinda nice to be missed LOL

There's plenty of other voices you could sound like that would be far from impressive.  Sam Elliott ain't bad.  Far from it considering the idea that the bartender loves your voice.

Ah well, my voice is what it is, good bad or otherwise. I'm too damn old now to try and cultivate a new one.
