I've heard plenty of people say that the music of my formative years (Styx, Journey, Kansas, REO Speedwagon, Kiss, and others) is pure garbage.  I guess the individuals that have said that haven't been listening to current top 20/top 40 music.  If they had been listening to it, then they'd have heard enough of Justin Timberlake to question just what the hell is keeping him in the spotlight?!?

His current "hits" are complete garbage.  Bringing Sexy back?!?  Since when.  The other trash, just as bad if not worse.  Who the heck is keeping this no talent so-called musician at the top of the charts?!?  There surely can't be that much mind numbing drugs in use amongst America's youth?!

Justin Timberlake and his ilk are exactly why I've found myself listening to "Today's Country" more frequently in the last few years.  The crap that passes for pop music now is so bad that I can barely listen to two songs in a row before being driven out of my mind enough to change to something else.  As bored as I am with the songs of my youth (there is a reason they call that stuff moldy oldies), I'd rather be tortured listening to a few of those over-played tunes than suffer through a lot of the current top 40 trash.

All American Rejects?  Ok.  Fall Out Boy?  easily tolerable.  Red Jump Suit Apparatus.  Ok.   Pink.  Alright.   But J.T.?!?!  excuse me while I puke.
