Where Did All This Crap Come From?

I've been in this hotel for, what, a little over 2 weeks? I've been gradually packing up my crap in preparation for checking out tomorrow morning and returning to work. Geez, I just can't believe all of the crap I have here in this room to be packed away and carted back to the truck.

It adds up over time I suppose. Carry in a bit here, a bit there. Good grief! I finally have everything packed up except for those items I'll need between now and tomorrow morning. Toiletries, shaving kit, laptop, etc. I haven't started carrying any of it out to the truck yet.

As I don't want to be lifting too much weight at on time in deference to my still healing back it's going to take several trips to cart all of this crap back to the truck. I'm going to carry most of it out this evening and then what little bit I need over night will go out in the morning.

It's just that while I was busy packing everything away I couldn't help but ask myself "where the hell did all of this crap come from?"

Everytime I move.. I ask the same question. When I go on vacation, and shopping has occured, (like that never happens, lol) I ask the same question. It just happens...lol Just glad you're able to get out and be back ... Bear hugs your way!

It's easy to gather crap, without even realising it. It's so much harder to get rid of them! Just like losing weight!!

Yeah it's funny how the crap just sort of sneaks in when you're not looking.

thanks

Yep, that's the way it works. Last time I moved out of one truck and into another one I took a bunch of crap home and left it there. Now the truck has gradually filled up with more crap.

Thanks. As long as I follow the doc's orders and wear the goofy back brace belly squeezer thingy it should be all right. Stupid thing reminds me of a girdle

Crap has a way of happening. Hmmm... that'd make a good bumper sticker wouldn't it?

Take care of yourself out there...

My biggest failing is buying magazines--mainly the motoring type. I reckon if I'd spent two weeks in a hotel I'd have bought a shit load of mags. What to do with them? I mean I need to read the test on the new Jeep again soon. And I can't throw away a Merc test until I've thought it through. Then there's the empty cans! I'm in complete sympathy.

I don't buy many of those, but I do seem to collect a lot of other crap.

What is the sound of crap happening?

If crap happens and no one's there to smell or see it, is it still crap?

Ah Grasshopper, the Truth is there is no crap.
