Bug: Game stops working, but is still "playing"

So to type messages and what not I'm using Multiplicity to just mouse over to the other machine.. This of course causes the main window to scroll all the way it can in that direction..

Well.. this causes the game to get to an unplayable state.. It's still working in that I hear things going on.. and my various income numbers continue to climb.. but nothing works.. no amount of clicking or button pushing works.

So.. this is either the same Multiplicity error I'm seeing in vanguard, or its a new one with Sins.

Have you tried using a hotkey to swap desktops and disabling edge-switching?

The problem with that is most games catch the hotkey before it gets to Multiplicity..
