You should be fine, other than the glowing asteroids issue...

The glowing asteroids give off a nice look when you nuke them. Something you nvidians dont get. >

Most of the screenshots dont looks as pretty as some of the ones they gave us before.

that's because they take screenshots on high detail when they release them. people making their own probably don't bother to switch to high graphics just for the SS.

Well I for one think the beta people should put in a little more effort to please the betaless minority.

Here are a few little screenshot pointers for everyone

a)Use the pause button and zoom/move about to get the best angle   
b)Use CTRL+Shift+Z to remove the UI
c)Don't forget the action! Get some fighters & explosions in there for extra flavour.
d)Feature a dominant element in your composition. For example, a close up of a structure, with ships in the distance.
e)Go to menu > options > graphics and adjust your quality settings.

Well I hope to see better stuff... at least until I get the beta/game. :/
