Naval Ranks for Capital ships

Hey all,

First...you promised this game wouldn't be fun and it is...shame on you

Second, I'm wondering if anyone else would like to see standard naval ranks be given to capital ships instead of a level number as we currently see. I would suggest this list:
- Ensign
- Lt
- Lt. Cmdr
- Cmdr
- Captain
- Rear Admiral
- Vice Admiral
- Fleet Admiral

I know..I know, its gamey, but how many space sci-fi shows do we see with capital ships without some sort of naval link to them. This would also give a nice visual cue to the user of how valuable a capital ship is.

Just a thought.

I was thinking , if they want to keep the level number system , change it from the word level to ""class"" , so the ship instead of being level 1 or 2 or 3, would be a class 1 or 2 or 3... sounds better imho...

Well either naval ranks, or give us the ability to set them to whatever we want!

The orange button above the portraits at the bottom of the screen will allow you to name your ships and planets among other functions in a future version.
