It's already March and I haven't blogged since Elana's birthday. I haven't even written anything in Elana's baby book since long before her 3rd birthday - what a bad mummy I am.
I got a hair cut a couple weeks ago.
Elana started day care one day a week.
Over the Christmas break everything shut down and she was so bored and lonely. Laila (next door neighbour) had gone overseas on holidays for a month just after Elana's birthday, Play Group broke up for the holidays and returned in mid January, Kindermusik broke up for the holidays and returned mid February, her other friends were doing family things, going away etc and there's only so many times mummy can play Candyland. She got tired of playdoh and painting and drawing and little people and blocks and trains. So we decided to enrol her in Day Care one day a week. And she LOVES!!! it.
We chose Thursdays because we had Playgroup Mondays, chill out mums on the first & third Tuesday, Kindermusik on Fridays and sometimes we'd go swimming or to Grans house on Wednesdays.
She's a bit of a goose our girl.

And here's our Guitar Hero.
Well she's tall. She doesn't stop talking EVER. Or singing.
And over the last month she's decided that we're no longer Mummy, Daddy and Elana - no that won't do at all we're Jelly, Potato and Banana. Well at least we were until two days ago when she decided that no "you're not mummy Jelly you're bee-bee" Daddy is now Bubba and she is Penguin.
She's currently obsessed with penguins in particular the stuffed one she got from Grandma who saw Happy Feet (Elana's never seen Happy Feet).
She sleeps with a menagerie every night. There's Bird (penguin), Tiny Bear (this small bear gran bought her in woolies you're supposed to collect all 12 or something her's is the grumpy one) Dora (Dora the explorer doll), Baby Door (soft baby doll) Tim (green & blue giraffe) Nathan (brown rabbit) Cat (beaver Peter brought back from Canada), Cow (moose Alex brought back from Canada) Moose (cat we bought at Kmart) and Julia (doll she got for Christmas that she named Julia) everyone needs to be tucked in, kissed and said goodnight to Everynight,
Elana is ever so slightly insane.
- Please Help - I've tried 400 times to get those pictures smaller and they're smaller in my photobucket but still that same big size in this post - everytime I link them they get big again but they're the same size as that last picture of E with the strollers in my photobucket account - HELP
