Not A Good Way To Wake Up
I sure hope the drugs start having an effect on this soon as it doesn't seem to be getting any better yet. I injured the back Tuesday morning and here it is Friday without any improvement. Of course I only got the drugs yesterday and I know it takes some time for them to start really helping.
I'm also supposed to be taking ibuprofin as an anti inflammatory but they're still out in my truck and so far I haven't felt able to walk all the way to it and retrieve them. As my cell phone is almost dead I'm going to have to get out there some time today so I can plug it into the charger. I'll get the pills then.
Maybe I can get someone here at the truck stop to drive me out to my truck. It's parked quite a long way from the building and I'm not yet up to making the trip yet. Just walking from my room to the restaurant is challenging and very painful at this point but I made that trip this morning for coffee. I'm still trying to get my back to relax again after that walk.
Ah well, I'm alive (the intense pain pretty well proves that), warm, close to food and drink, and have help available if I need it so I really shouldn't complain. It can always be worse.

I have thought about it but am just not ready to give in to disability yet. My doctor tried to get me to take one after my wreck but I declined it. Walking is good for you.
