Found a skin have a problem...

I know that there are a lot of posts here about looking for a skin but my problem is slightly more complicated. I've been looking for a skin that has the theme of a Black Panther/Leopard in XP format and I found one but here's the catch;

When I download it my antivirus program identifies an advertisment installer. I've already dealt with it and have researched it to find that it downloads advertisments when you enter a key word in a seach bar. It MUST be manually installed to have any effect so don't worry if you help me (just have a virus/adware autodetector active).

Thing is I want to find this skin and I've sent an e-mail to the skinner but he hasn't replied. I sent him the e-mail about a month ago so I don't think he is even using that account anymore. If you guys have any links or idea of where to find this skin please tell me.

It would seem that the creator finally got back to me so that is good news but if anyone has any links to a good leopard/panther skin site I would be grateful.

I'm relatively new to the whole skinning scene, don't know alot of the history leading up to current versions of skinning software or other versions of software that perform the same thing. What's wrong with themeXP? I've heard of it but I've never researched it to see if I would use it or not. I just use the latest version of wb.

unclerob-ThemeXP is a website where you can dl wallpaper,icons and Visual Styles. Only thing is when you dl something it's in an .exe format and it installs crap on your cpu before you get the object you want.

Yep....and most of that crap includes malware, spyware, browser hijackers and adware.

Better to avoid that site like the plague.

My advice.. avoid themeXP like the plague.

They like to tell you that this is how they 'pay' for their site, by adding this crap to the zip. I have some of my first walls on there from about 6 years ago or so, before they started doing that. Now , my stuff has that same crap in it. Because it was so long ago and that email acct no longer exists, I can't get it removed.

Stay away from downloading any skins or 'art' from there.

Yeah I was there around about then....got caught unawares by the themes packaging and ended up with a whole bunch of nasties on my rig. Ended up having to do a reformat cos one was a self perpetuating 'scuz ball' that just wouldn't be got rid of, no matter what we did.
