Joining an empire

Would like to join an empire, preferably The Galactic Empire. Can anybody point me in the right or left direction

I'm not sure the Status of the Galactic Empire. They had fallen on some hard times at one point, but I know M.B.M. and a few others are still around. Anyway here is their empire page. it has a join link to the left under their logo.
