Over 3 hours of music!!! Wow!!!

"Sins is looking to ship with over three hours of music."

That was mentioned in the 1UP preview. And it has me in awe, I don't think I've ever played a game with that much unique music in it, I think it will really add to the overall quality of the game! Anyone else have opinions or thoughts on this?

I remember the excellent Homeworld 1 and 2 soundtracks, which I still have on CD!

I am wondering if the soundtracks will be able to ripped from the game to put on a cd? Or even better, maybe included in MP3 format? To listen to in my car as I do battle down the PA turnpike.

Each race will probably have its own soundtrack as notified before.

And I dont think well be listening to beep, beep, beep in the middle of battles.

I'd hope its classically composed music..most of the time. Maybe throw in some sweet metal and solos, but mostly classic music. It just makes the game seem more epic with that kind of music.

The music in the video is part of the TEC and Advent soundtrack.

Me likes that little music I've heard so far!

A good combination of rock and classical, like Halo, would be good.

my only qualification is:
EPIC

The music in the game is in Ogg Vorbis format, so you can always re-encode it to MP3 or whatever other format suits your fancy.

Wow, I still have the HW soundtracks too. Genesis Rising didn't do to bad soundtrack wise. Sins has some competition

Though considering it's a space game, i'd expect a operatic track. HW and GR did it. (HW: Barber's Adagio for Strings, Genesis Rising: Trailer music)

opera is great for epicness. but If your just starting to turn back what looked like a hopeless overrun of your empire, you need rock-metal blood-pumping music. so let the bodies hit the floor.
and as always, Epic-apalian is the religion of Epic music, and here we religiously profile.

I would expect a mix of opera type stuff and full orchestrial music with moving violin, trumpet, and flute solos.

That's basically classical LOL. Well classical's usually associated with epic (i play piano and conduct)..........wow schimatic epic must be ur fav word LOL

Not necessarily. You obviously never saw Mai-HiME. LOL. The music fits so well with HW. Here's a vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aodS93a3COg&feature=PlayList&p=50526BA86EA87D1F&index=2
