It's My Wedding Anniversary Today

Why Am I So Lucky?

Today's a good day for me to reflect on how lucky I am to be happily yes happily married to the woman of my dreams. In fact, when I first saw her at the pool hall, I actually told my friend "man I could marry her"! The rest is history. 8 years and two boys and counting. It's odd how, if you told me 8 1/2 years ago that I was going to be a dad of two I would have laughed you out of town. I love how life twists and turns (in a good way) sometimes. Throws you a curve ball so to speak.

Congrats on the happy marriage and family!  I just celebrated my 8 year with my husband.  It seems like a short time, yet I can't really remember life without him.

Hope you have many more of these to celebrate!

Hearty blessings for your wedding anniversary! I have been married three times now, two of my brides were bought from the Internet. Life throws some very surprising mud at you sometimes.

"yet I can't really remember life without him"
I know exactly what you mean. And then again I can't remember my life before my first was born. (9 months and one day after the honeymoon). I know, I'm a loser.

Mouse~congrats big time! Sorry I didn't say something sooner, but I have been having some very bad computer problems lately. * CRASH * . I am looking into getting a new one though.

So now at least I know you're a dude! . I never can figure these cybernames out~unless there's a boy or girl at the end of the name, etc. But I enjoy your clever (and honest) comments a lot. And you seem like a really cool dude to me. So I wish you and yours MANY happy years together! And thanks for all your really cool comments~they always somehow make me feel a little bit better about life, etc. CONGRATS AGAIN!

That is why my name is the way it is.  I used to be "JavaBrain" which all the online circles thought meant I was a male Java programmer for some reason (instead of the female coffee addict that I am).

miki, did you have a nice anniversary?

wow thanx folks. Yes we had a quite time at a very fine restaurant, minus children!!! Needless to say it wasn't stressful at all, which in my book is akin to winning a lottery. To be Frank, we never got down to it as we are planning another pregnancy for a bit later....gotta get the sperm count up up up, so to speak. Lol. And thanks madpoet for the offbeat comment. Offbeat = complimenting mikimouse.
