Screenshots from Games for Windows Magazine

if this is not okey, mods may remove them

In the artikel, blair told about some anonymous bounty, that you could put on someone, you could even put it on your ally hehe.

And a qoute

Players place a bounty by opening the diplomacy window and clicking the bounty button for a given opponent. Fraser explains. As players destroy ships and structures of that enemy, they receive money from the pool proportional to the value of what they destroyed.' The design goals: Provide an in-game incentive for cooperation against a clear 'powerhouse' opponent, and offer an alternative for economy-focused players to deal with military-minded enemies The names of the bounty placers are kept anonymous. This can lead to some interesting psychology between players.' Fraser says. To what degree can I trust that my ally isn't using income from our trade agreement to put a price on my head?

Where did you get those screens from, they look horrible. I mean this, as the quality of the shots are bad, not the actually graphics of the game, which have gotten to be very pretty.

thats how they look in the magazine.

edit:
i dont care of the quality of the images, more of what they are showing

I must say that that the game look pretty amazing...

Thus highlighting the need for a gameplay vid or trailer >pleads<

Under fair use laws, you are allowed to as long as you are not trying to make a profit by doing so.

I just stood and read the entire magazine in the store

Mmmmm so excited... And I agree, we need a game play video, unless the beta comes out first! Then don't release a gameplay video, and make all those who didn't pre-order the game just to play the beta suffer!

I'm pretty sure it's not wrong to describe the content of the article (any game info), as long as it is not a C'n'P or a scan of the article.

To clarify... fair use rules allow you to republish parts of an article.  So a few of these scans are OK, and maybe a single quote from the article would also go under the radar, but fair use does not allow for the complete republication of a magazine article.

dont trust me then...

you would probably place a bounty on your own head just to get more action
Reply #17 Top
if your a dominatrix, sure.

if anything I'd just do it to pull my weak and meagre foes out of hiding.

Actually a bounty on your own head would be a good way to get an ally to help you betray someone. You say they're boutying you and it could get messy and confusing....

I broke down and bought a copy of the magazine, the pictures to show the different levels of ZOOM are amazing... 2 are missing for the pics above
