Maybe this was a mistake

20/20 hindsight

I decided that my kids needed something new to watch on tv.....I can only watch "Cars" so many times before I go crazy. I borrowed Dralion-Cirque Du Soleil's 200 performance.

They thought the girl doing a one handed handstand while contorting was pretty cool. They also loved the girls on the teeterboard and the juggler.
You would think this is just fun, wholesome family fun, right?

WRONG!
Only few moments after I wandered into the kitchen to start dinner my daughter called me...."Mommy, Mommy LOOK!"

She was standing on her rocking horse (fully clothed this time) with one foot in the air.

Why do I suddenly realize why my parents hated seeing me tightrope walk across the top of the swingset?
Sigh.

LOL...and climbing trees, lifehappens...don't forget climbing trees.

How children survive childhood is beyond me. Cute piece (and I'm so glad HW gets to enjoy these tidbits through blogging...there's so much more in some of these articles than you could say on the phone!)

See how smart we become when we become the parents?

She comes by it honestly. If you'll recall, her mommy was teaching yoga, aerobics, pilates, and abs classes, and doing cartwheels and other atheletic stuff up through her ninth month while pregnant with her. She is only following in your tight-roping foot steps.

While I admit that I did cartwheels throughout my pregnancy, I must protest that I stopped nearly a week before she was born.....
