What are your specs?

I doubt refunds will be given once you play the game... thats like buying a sandwich eating half, saying it didn't agree with you , and asking for a refund because you got sick, lol...

But if Stardock is as great as most people proclaim it to be, and you can't get the game to run at all, they would probably issue you store credit, they seem like a upstanding company, making sure their customers are happy.

From what I can tell, the game should run fine on most pcs built within the last 2-3 years.

you act like 2-3 years is a GOOD thing.
god.

I think that's pretty reasonable. At least better than Doom 3 which required computers that were -2 to -3 years old.

I think any game should at least be compatable with a 5-7 year old system.

define compatible.

it'll probably run, but run like manure in an old bucket.
That is, if we're talking 5 years behind mainstream.
5-7 years ago, we were happy with Dx7, win2k was new, we were running 166mhz cpu's and had at best 256mb's of ram.

I mean I want to be able to run it on a 1999 computer.

I think a 4 year lifespan on PC game compatibility is just about right, then again, I build a new PC every 2 years, because I don't wan the game running like manure....

STOP FLAUNTING IT!!!

livespan is not quite the same as what you're describing now. you'll still be able to play this game in 2015, but don't expect 2015 games to run on you current mainstream system. You'd need one of them bigatom machines for that

I build a TOP of the line computer every 5 years - works fine for me I put away $15 a week for a new computer and then after the five years is up I build a top of the line one (have 3,900 saved by then)... thus when my computer came due last December I ended up with a quadcore two 8800gtxs and 4gbs of ram.

First, off yea wrong forum section. Second, I have never know a company to refund monny to a game you have already instaled. Thay provided the specks nessisary to play the game to you, it's you're job to know what you're mashine can and cannont handel before you made the perches.

I hate thats how things are but with the way peaple cheat companys outa the monny thay earned for there games you can't realy blame them for being with way now a days. :P
