Hey It Got Dark!

I've been sitting here in the truck munching on Jelly Belly jelly beans, knitting, and watching a DVD. The movie ended and as I was killing the player application I looked out and realized that at some point during the knitting/movie watching/Jelly Belly binge that the sun had moved on to other realms. It got dark out and I hadn't even noticed.

Being out here on the Pacific coast is almost like summer (well, without the warmth) in that it gets dark at a reasonable time if I am going by my clock and not the local time.

I guess I was so engrossed in my activities that I was less aware of what was going on outside than I had thought. That damn dark just snuck right up on me.

I probably should wander inside and get something or other than resembles actual food in that I really don't think jelly beans, even Jelly Belly ones, actually constitute dinner.

I have added a few more inches to my scarf. It's getting long enough now to actually resemble a scarf and is getting to be more of a handful to move around as I knit.

Not even Jelly Belly ones?

I'm more into legumes myself.

I had a couple slices of pizza to balance out the jelly beans.

I suppose it is because I have a relatively small amount of free time, but man, I hate it when that happens.  I end up losing hours I still wish I had.

Sounds like a very relaxing evening,  and pizza especially sounds delicious.

I sat and watched the sunset tonight,  it was a beauty and I snapped a couple of pics of it. 

These kind of evenings are neat.
