Now I'm Nervous

Things went far too well for a Monday. I made it to the first stop no problem, got unloaded right away and the guy even helped me fold my tarp, and then went to the port.

Normally one expects to be sitting in a long line just to get into the port, and then wait a while for your turn to be unloaded. When I pulled in there was no line. I thought at first that I was in the wrong place. Nope, just no line. I was processed right in, the guys were all friendly, and was unloaded immediately.

Now I'm back at the truckstop to have my breakfast. Things never go this smoothly on a Monday. It makes me nervous. Something is gonna go wrong. It has to, it's Monday.

Could be. As I suspected, I'm getting bitten on the back end of the deal. I'm sitting in the truckstop waiting for them to find me another load, and so far...nothing. Ah well, it could be worse I suppose.

I came into the office today and everyone had a tale of woe to tell. I, however, had a fine morning...except that my coffee got cold before I could drink it! Ok, maybe that's not such a tragedy either (there was more). Glad you had a good morning too!

Isn't Seattle known for having a lot of rain? And, doesn't it have one of the highest rate for suicides? So maybe Mondays there are good, and all the other days are shitty. Whatever the reason I hope you enjoyed it.
