Count Me Out Today

I made my delivery on time this morning, picked up a military truck, and came back to the yard. I've had my wipers replaced, turned in my paperwork, and will be loading a military truck here at the yard heading for KY. I had told dispatch to not count on me getting much of anything done today as I was dead tired. They understood. The KY truck doesn't deliver until Wednesday, so I can pretty much just take it easy the rest of today once I get it chained down.

Now I'm eating my lunch and watching them plow the snow in the lot. Fun fun.

After the driving you've done through the ice etc., you deserve a break. Kick back, put in a dvd, and knit away ! Relaxation is important.. and from the sounds of your schedule lately, you haven't had a lot of that!

Agreed. I'm relaxing a bit now but don't want to start on my knitting as I am waiting to load a truck. I'd hate to have to stop in the middle of a row for something as trivial as work.

Take it easy.  After all, it aint any warmer in KY than WI right now!  And by the time you got to Va, it would be the same.  Sorry you missed our faux spring.

I can deal with the cold if I have to. I have my longhandles, warm furry hat, and Carhartts. It's the snow and ice that have been so miserable.

Hoping lunch is a bit more enjoyable than a Hostess cupcake and a beer. Well the beer part is enjoyable enough I imagine.
