Cold Morning, Hot Coffee

I didn't set my alarm last night, choosing instead to just sleep until I was finished sleeping. I got up about 7:00 this morning and wandered into the truckstop for my morning coffee. It's cold out there this morning and the coffee is especially nice on a morning like this.

My truck is due for routine servicing and I'll be heading up to the yard shortly to have that taken care of. The air conditioner on the generator isn't cooling very well so I'll have them check that while it's in there. While I only need the heat part up here, the ac comes in handy down in South Texas or Florida even this time of year. It'll probably take an hour or two to service the truck so I'll get a bit of knitting time in while I am waiting.

At this point I have no idea where I am heading next, bt hopefully it'll be someplace warmer. Texas would be nice.

It's 8:00am now, so I guess I'll mosey on up to the yard and get my truck in the shop before they get busy.

Heck, Virginia was not too bad this weekend!  73 for a high.  Feels like spring (but that is ending tomorrow).  Have a good trip!

It's been warm here, it's 81 now. But it's supposed to be half that by Wednesday.

Hey, I wondered if you knit in public since your truck will be serviced and you can't sit in it? If you do, well, you confident man you! woot! In that you don't give a dickens what others will think. I mentioned that this is becoming popular among guys right? Yeah!

I'd much rather be in the warmer weather. My truck is all serviced now and I am waiting for the stuff to arrive at the yard to build my load to Texas. Should be nicce and warm there.

Sure, I knit sitting in the truckstops. Today I was sitting in the break room knitting while they were servicing my truck. One of the mechanics was asking me about it and said that it looked very relaxing to him and he was impressed by the scarf. I agreed that it is indeed relaxing.

I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks. I've taken a little good natured ribbing from a few of my fellow truckers and I don't have a problem with that as I have a good sense of humor and am not one of those schmucks who lacks self assuredness. Some have even asked me questions about it.
