What race do you like the best?

I know we havent had much information about the races in the game. But, we do have the general ship outline and the history, not to mention the beutiful screenshots. As of now who do you think you will like the best in the game the mysterios power of the Advent, the millitary might of the Vasari, or the economic dominination of the TEC?

I want to play the TEC campain the most, seems like it will be challenging to fight on two fronts. So Right now TEC all the way.

I'm going for the Advent. I've said this before on the old old boards but here goes again: they seem to be in the strongest position. The TEC are fighting for their lives and the Vasari are running for their lives and are endangered by the delay they are facing. But not the Advent. No, no. The Advent are just here to kick some TEC ass. They aren't worried about imminent destruction like the other two.

who gives a shit about imminent destruction?
but seriously, I fully expect the advent to be the "quirk" class, one that moves oddly and is difficult to predict.
thats my reason for using them.

I personally like the Vasari myself, an empire that controled the galaxy and was able to bend space itself, the whole universe at their whim. Yet, still even they fell and now they have a dark past and a darker future. Though i have to admit the Advent ship designs are HOT!!

oh give me a break, they all are capable of bending time and space.
and yeah, you know they're hot!

Guys, I can bend space and time also, lets play me!

I like the Vasari...Ive always liked that kind of few, powerful, (expensive) units strategy.

when the TEC engages you with a faux pas force and then pops a cap in your ass.
I'll laugh.

Fuax pas means error or blunder...I hop you mean something along the lines of a decoy fleet? Not a "wrong" fleet.

Anyways, part of the strategy of using those units is learning general tactics used against and how to counter. Worry more about your units

Definitely the TEC. Not for any gameplay-related reasons, but just because I like their concept and character designs the most.

The Vasari might not be as numerous as the other races, but so far as i can tell their fleets are just as big as any of the others, if not bigger(see the trailer)

Yes, thats just a trailer though. More ships and bigger ones help attract eyes.

The Vasari ships cost more but with better economy they will have big fleets.I will play the TEC first.

I am unable to micromanage and must rely on the Vasari.

I like the Advent. They remind me a bit of some of the best scifi villians in recent memory ... the Emergents in Vernor Vinge's Deepness in the Sky. Though the Emergents use more biotech for their mind control, not psi powers.

Anyway, all three races look fantastic!

my bad.
fine. but still, if I were to lie and say thats what I meant, I could make a good arguement for using the word.
just so you know xD

definition:
is a violation of accepted, although unwritten, social rules

well, looks like neither one of us was right.
hah, a fleet that violates social rules. what fun!

French translation:
The term comes from French and literally means "false step".

see, this was what I was thinking, more like a false move, like a "fake" where you shift body position left, but bolt right instead. of course, it means I used it incorrectly. but bah, who cares.

Sure its the trailer, but if it was done there that means we can do the same thing(hopefully)
