            For those who are interested, Pseudosoldier, Cochise, The Pokekorean, SSG Smiley, SGT Monobrow, SSG Unreadable, SPC Lovechild, and yours truly will be traveling to The Presidio of Monterey for the World Wide Language Olympics. This will be my first time competing and it will also be first time I have been back to the Defense Language Institute since I graduated in 1993.

            We have a 2 week train-up period before the competition but I don’t think that it will be enough to “knock the rust off” of my poor Korean ability. Even so it will be nice to see many of my friends in the career field for a few days.

            If The Pokekorean and I lose quickly, feel free to look us up at the Mucky Duck where we will certainly be found drowning our sorrows.

And by "Olympics," you mean "competition." Wouldn't want to get sued now, would we?

SGT Monobrow and I will bitch at you tomorrow over the latest development for our teams (non-competition related, BTW).

Is SSG Unreadable ours or yours? And I use "yours" loosely, don't worry.

Alright... I just thought we were going with SSG Accent. SGT MB is an accurate (if unflattering) nick, and you did need one as his other doesn't work (as we discussed). I think Smiley could be great fun on the trip, but I'm not sure how much pressure you should apply to bring on the drinkage. I've extended the offer, but it has not been taken up.

Personally I feel that Golfs are the result of a secret Government Eugenics Program run out of Ft. Meade in the NSA Basement right next to the alien autopsy room and down the hall from the telepathic listening stations where the Zeta Reticulans beam GWB his daily instructions. Apparently the Golf Eugenics program was their only success to date.
