    After weeks of mortal combat with the Realtor from Hell I am now safely ensconced in my new hovel -- a whole 7 blocks from my old shack. Things are almost stabilized and as back to normal as they're likely to get for the time being.

    I'll soon be back here blogging regularly. Start cutting your palm fronds now for my triumphal return. (Strike that -- I notice Sir Peter is already taking the walking on water tack. Damn, my thunder stolen again.)

     * For our age challenged users: "Frodo Lives" was a slogan that originated on college campuses among fans of Lord of the Rings (in the 60's?). Consider it a hipness-test for geeks. It was followed by such knock-offs as "Spock Lives" and "Darth Vader Lives". Yes -- I am that old.
