What type of weapons system do you like the best?
Most of all I like projectile weapons, plasma burst cannon, anti-air craft flak cannon.

It just looks way cooler to see ships using projectiles and plasma bursts in a big fight.
I'm not a fan of seeing bunch of laser lines across my screen.

lasers only suk if they dont do anything graphicallistically cool to the enemy ship.
If I see sparks flying and metal being vaporized and spread into space, lasers=cool.
just a bunch of colorful lines isnt fun.

It seems taht lasers cause explosions and sparks, especially when they hit the shields. Maybe we wont see REALY good graphics but the current ones look very well done.

I quite like the whole "Pulses" thing they got going on, I'm not a fan of beams (unless they're done like in the Nexus 2 tech demo or used like a superweapons a la Freespace 2). Missiles are cool also, one thing that always gets me with beams, is, unless they're really hot, they should cause gigantic explosions when they hit something, they should just boil away at the hull.

We have lasers of our own they pretty much vaporize anything, they go throught things too quickly for us to notice any changes besides a huge whole. But, thats boring, i like the way they are now.

ah, but they're so pretty and purple, besides its just awesome to see them pierce 10" of tempered titanium alloy.
