Protection of beta?
Will it only require the pre-order key?
And how do you avoid someone sharing it with the world?
Oh and as i remember there was some talk about in long time ago, about cd-protection, but dont remember, what the answer was.
Cheers
will there be open beta at a later date. Im hoping to just buy the game instore. I get 10% off as a student
Nope.
well, I'll see if I can get into it when the time comes for it to start up. is there some minimal input limit or something? or can I just play as the whim comes and give you input.
Play as much or as little as you like. But if you don't give us feedback, you lose your rights to complain later.
Hmm, so when the beta becomes active will you guys send me the serial code or activation thing in my mail?
Yup. When the preorders are charged, you'll get an email with your activation code and will be able to download it via Stardock Central.
As for player feedback, that's one of the primary reasons why we're doing a beta. Just keep in mind that not every suggestion is going to be implemented, though we will be reading what's posted (even if we don't reply to every post since that takes a huge amount of time).
You can't exactly pre-order from the Middle East.
)
Yup. When the preorders are charged, you'll get an email with your activation code and will be able to download it via Stardock Central.
(by tokens on totalgaming)If you're a TotalGaming.net member, the Sins beta will "appear" in Stardock Central as being available for Install (it'll be announced on the website and elsewhere). TGN members won't need their serials as Stardock Central handles that automatically for them, but you can still obtain it via the support form.
