It's so, so hard

I knew this was a problem shortly after I moved in, but it seems to have gotten noticeably worse recently. Maybe it's the change in weather, the cold bringing it out perhaps.

It's slowly ruining many things for me. There will be a bit of a recovery process once I (eventually) move out of here, and that will take awhile to replace some things.

Dishes, especially the pots and pans, my whites: socks, t-shirts and linens... yeah, the water's leaving a lot of mineral deposits.

Stupid Concho water.

I rememeber the water there being particularly wretched. Nice to see that things have only gotten worse in the armpit of Texas.

Hard water sucks. We have the same problem with water in FL.

Damn stuff ate through my kitchen sink pipes last month, flooded the dining room.

It's destroying my cheap Wal-Mart "silver"ware, too.

Nah, that's houston.

Try getting a water softener. Even if you're in an apartment, they make a small one you can hook up to the water supply under the sink to your sink and dishwasher, etc.

I've already had enough issues with the plumbing, though; I'm afraid it will simply disintegrate if I look at it wrong.

edit: I thought the armpit of Texas was El Paso. But then, I guess, there should be two armpits, right?

Of course there are also other orifii (orifices?) that could be substituted if armpit has been spoken for...

I think that's fixations.........

It strongly resembles the orifice it smells like though................
