Windows loading failure due to boot skin

i am a beginner so help me please

whenever i try to change the boot skin(win xp of course) and restart my computer after all those DOS screens, when windows loading screen comes, after some time of loading system crashes.then only alternative left for me is to boot in safe mode and uninstall the boot skin software

My config is
amd athlon 3200+
asus a8n -sli mobo

I have an Asus A8n-SLi - no version of Bootskin will work. You are best un-installing it!

No, no tweak. Bootskin will not work with some BIOS' at all. The A8n-SLi is a no-go
