Today large parts of the UK's internet have gone missing. Sites such as Hotmail, MSN, NatWest bank, Sky etc are unreachable.

Various sources blame the outage on DNS problems, PSINet and the BT core router at Ilford.

All I know is I've no e-mail, bleh...

Update on U.K internet outtage. Apparently it were no accident, nor an equipment failure, either.....

Seems I have a Brit relative of rather dubious character who wanted to unfreeze his frozen assets.....Brit net was down to remove all his ill-gotten gain from the Bank Of England and have it deposited in a Swiss bank.

Now I know who to see about a (more permanent than usual) loan...."Hey unc', got a few spare quid (you don't want the police or IRS to find) floating around that I could borrow? Now I'm unc-dependently wealthy, I can stop answering all those Nigerian emails.
