Trying to Download

from Stardock Forums

Okay, just purchased the game and have a serial number, but have not been able to find the magic place to use the serial number to download the game.  Can someone clue me in on what I am doing wrong, or where I need to go for the download?

okay, I had Stardock Central installed. Apparently, the correct answer I found elsewhere:

maccleary: In Stardock Central, click Tools -> Settings -> Internet and then click on Refresh XML Data.

After doing this, I was eventually able to get SR2 to appear as a game that I had paid for and could download.

OK, have now attemnpted to download this game a total of 3 times now, each time with no success. I have had to cancel the download each time, as the game has reached around 70% downloaded and then resets the download. Unfortunatly I don't have unlimited ISP access so that is it for me for the month for attempting to download this game.

I don't think it is my Stardock settings, as I have recently downloaded the beta for Gal Civ 2 DA with no problems (it is now installed and running).

I haven't as yet receieved any further responses from Stardock in regards to fixing this problem or coming up with further suggestions for this issue so at this stage, unless I hear something from stardock by the end of the week, I will be asking for my money back. A shame really considering the demo was so much fun.
