Black and White theme with active window colored

Hi,

I was looking for (as the title suggests) a black and white (colors, not the game) theme but were the selected/active window is in full color.
Similar wot when you choose shutdown in XP and the background, icons and start menu all fade to black and white and the shutdown window is still full color.

Does a theme such as this exist if so where? if not.. does someone want to have a stab at it

You can get close. The problem is that the inactive window state can't be completely skinned separately - the active & inactive windows share certain GUI elements. The Titlebar, window borders & Menubar can have an inactive state different from the active window, but the rest of the window will look the same. This may change in Vista.

You can use SkinStudio to modify any skin you like for your personal use, BTW. You could pick a colorful skin and grayscale the images for the inactive window elements above to give you close to what you're looking for.

Thanks for the replies chaps. Sorry for not getting back sooner.

Didnt receive any email reply notification and kinda forgot .. heheh

Those links dont really look like what im after.
Maybe vista will have more abaility to do what i want.

Might have a look at skinstudio and see what can be done.
