A Legal Campaign I Can Get Behind!

Browsing news headlines in email this morning and I just had to share this one. South Korea moves to legalize miniskirts .
Now, I've spent some time in Korea and I never knew it was against the law to wear mini skirts or short, hot pants. Even in the winter with snow piled up and wind whipping through the city, you'll see women all over the place wearing short skirts. According to the article, the law has been on the books forever but hasn't been enforced in decades.
Of course, when it was enforced, police were issued rulers so they could measure the distance from the knee to the hemline. Now that's a reason to get up in the morning and head to work, right there! HAHA! They would also check the length of hair on men and cut it for them if they found it to be too long. They also had a Footloose type law that prohibited certain types of dancing, as well.
I'll end this with a picture from the article...
