True Rolling Showmen

I'm not going to write a long review about the Rolling Stones concert we attended last night...seen as some of you might have already had this experience and know this band pretty well.
However, I do want to state how impressed I was with their keen sense of pleasing the audience. Every little move (even the weird Mick ones) was geared toward getting the audience into it, getting them in a frenzy, and mesmerizing them to remain standing through 99 percent of the concert. Not once did Jagger let his energy wane...not once. Wow. And they were all smiles throughout the show...just totally having fun with it all along with the crowd.
The stage display was overwhelming (looked like a modern building, with lucky fans on the balconies), the multicolored lighting and pyrotechnics were awesome...and the traveling stage, well let's just say that the fans at the back of the back of this outdoor stadium were definitely able to get a closer look at the "boys"...I was excited for them even though it wasn't me getting that lucky view...lol.
Of course, they played all their hits and every audience member had a fun time. They even had fans who didn't pay for tickets climbing the mountains surrounding the stadium to take a peek!
Although I do like some of their songs, I don't consider myself a Stones fanatic...but this is one of the best concerts I have ever attended...and I left it so impressed with how they much effort they put forth to please the crowd.
Definitely a great birthday gift.
