Played OS/2 Version and have been checking the Stardock page at least once a quarter ever since waiting eagerly for the Windows Version (ran OS/2 for an extra year just to play GalCiv!!!).

I read about it in Computer Gaming Monthly (I think). It was a 4X preview thing with MOO3 and Space Empire IV.

Heard about it way back when I was using OS/2. Always wanted to get GalCiv, but never did. Looking forward to it!

I did a search for 4x turn based space strats about eight months ago, and GalCiv was among a small few I found in production. Other than MOO3, it is the only one on that list that still looks active.
