List of the Best Wallpaper Sites

Hopefully this is a JU blog post....because it'd be somewhat 'rude' to post such when this thread turns up on Wincustomize.com ....and it's not mentioned....

I suggested adding Wincustomize to their list saying this sites ranks far above what they already have listed.

Socksoff.co.uk needs to be on there. That list is BS.

I find some good wallpapers for me on http://www.gandex.org, its a really good site with cool wallpapers.

http://UnicornNight.com is a new 3D and Photography wallpapers site.

WC IMO is the best and is not listed? bla...

Hum, a funny list.  Some sites are listed and some are not.  Wonder who did the review and picked the sites! (:(

Let's be honest, wincustomize's wallpaper selection sucks. A very large portion of it consists of low-quality, likely completely randomly generated fractal images that someone's computer pooped out.

There are a few gems, but not many....

Go check out interfacelift.com for some nice wps, and see Zueuk and MichaelFaber on deviantart.com if you need a point of reference to realize/notice that 99% of the WC fractal wallpapers are complete crap.

sure is a pity WC isn't on there, but overall some good stuff to be found on all of them with a little digging

I saw it on there. They do have some nice sites on the list. Got me some decent japanese ones

at least people are having a go, i don't remember seeing any of your work in the galleries.
it's easy to be critical but how about you put some of your own work up there and we can criticize yours.

when you upload pictures on the net that are not in zip folders the image is wrecked am i the only one that can see this??is there any other sites that have walls in zip folders.

I fail to see why.  Even jpg images can be hi-resolution and relatively loss-less.

Try a Google Image search...and look for 'extra large images'.

You'll find some very high quality ones...;)

Never mind its just me, my Internet settings was preventing me from seeing the full size of the images on the net and I never knew it. And when downloading to my desktop it would change it to an art file.

And it took you a month to answer that?
